My model debut...a.k.a Trash the Dress Contest!

So it's official!! I'm never going to be a model, but I did have the chance to be one for a recent shoot for a trash the dress contest. I definitely have a new found respect for all you models out there, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. However, I was pleased that my dress still fit, 5 years and 2 babies later:)! The contest is being put on by Tampa Wonderworks and Confetti Events and will include everything from pictures by Carrie Wildes Photography to flowers to hair (by yours truly) and makeup. All for FREE!! So if you have that wedding dress and you don't know what to do with it, enter the contest, it'll be a blast! Here are some of the pictures taken for the contest that include all the vendors you'll recieve freebies from! And details of the contest are below, check it out!

WHY: What is a “Trash the Dress” Session? It is a personalized photo and video shoot wherein you can creatively and memorably use your dress as art. This can also highlight your time as a married couple/family and give you a chance to get “all dolled up” just like your wedding day. This is about creation not destruction. It is also a great way to add something unconventional to your wedding album. Some examples include: burn it, wet it, paint it, wax it, trash it, Roll around in the mud, etc.

Why enter THIS contest? … Why not! You’ve made a commitment to your husband. He’s your one and only true love, right? Then you’ll never need the dress again. And no, your daughter won’t wear it in 20-30 years. So you have two choices:

1.Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet
2.Show your husband how committed you are by trashing the dress, and get some great fun FREE pictures while you do it!

Your Vendors Include: Tampa Wonderworks, Carrie Wildes Photography, Events In Bloom, HD Beauty Design by Pamela, A Hair Affair, & your FAVORITE Event Planners: Confetti Events & Weddings!
